In I Declare Before My God: The Brian and James Seery Story, Jack Kiernan describes circumstances which led to the murder by execution of two innocent men (a father and a son), victims of miscarriage of justice. Their deaths occurred on different days, 24 years apart on separate continents. Brian Seery died in Ireland, outside Mullingar Gaol on 13 February 1846.
